This is stunning really. I am looking for the hole through my screen! The depth is amazing. Stark and effective imagery. The contrast of the brittle heart and the fluidity of the drops below is powerful. Composition is great, not quite showing the full heart nor the bullet.

It also evokes strength spent: the brass shell, the heart intact but neither is functional any longer.

Color: the varying shades of red in the heart are realistic, although with the drops being darker, maybe the heart would work better in a darker hue. Brass is nice contrast, clean of blood from the carnage. I like that there is no reflection in the brass of the photographer - good angle.
